When you open a file or document through the TIMS3 project navigator (using any one of the file open functions), TIMS3 will automatically track accounting information. TIMS3 will record in the database how much time you have spent editing the file and document.
The accounting data recorded includes:
The accounting charge number for the current project
The workstation name that you are currently working on
The user name you are logged in as
The file name of the document you are editing or reviewing
Whether you are editing the document (MOD) or
reviewing it (REV)
The date on which the accounting session started
The time that elapsed while editing or reviewing the document.
The current accounting information will show in the top section of the TIMS3 Project Navigator window:
