Shutting down the brief display will return you to the Company’s menu window. By clicking on the Company Detailed button, you will see the company search window that allows you to specify search criteria or filters for locating company information.
In this example, keying in "giffels*" in the Company Name field will expand the search criteria to a valid SQL ‘Where’ condition statement "Like giffels*". You may specify additional criteria in this window that will be added to the search criteria where all the criteria on the screen have to be satisfied to return corresponding records from the database. If a logical OR combination of criteria is required, the Or tab can be selected. This will present a blank display where additional search criteria may be entered. Note that the search criteria entered are not case sensitive.
The search criteria may be cleared by clicking on the Clear Grid icon. The criteria entered on the form may be processed by clicking the Refresh query icon. You can exit out of the search form by clicking the Cancel icon.
