These document can be MicroStation, AutoCAD or any other graphics files. The information recorded in this detailed form relate specifically to CADD drawings.

The fields provided for graphics documents are:
|
Field Name |
Description |
Max. Size |
|
Graphic Type |
The possible types of graphics files are preconfigured by your system administrator. The common types are uStn for MicroStation files and ACAD for AutoCAD files. |

|
Sheet Number |
In the case where multiple sheets are placed in a single graphics file, the sheet number along with the other drawing information will reflect the details for that particular sheet. This may include specific plot scales, global origins (or position in the graphics design plane) and drawing sheet title. There would be one document record for each drawing sheet. |
50 |
|
Plot Size |
You can select from a predefined list of plot sizes. These would either be the metric A0, A1, A2, etc. sizes or the imperial A, B, C, etc. sizes. |
2 |
|
Plot Scale |
This specifies the plot scale of graphics files that are drawn in real world units, such as MicroStation files. The plot scale is expressed as a ratio of plot or drawing units to real world units, for example, a plot scale of 100 would reflect a drawing scale of 1:100. |
4 |
|
Dimension |
This indicates whether the file is a 2 dimensional or 3 dimensional drawing. |
2 |
|
Units: Sub |
For MicroStation files this records how many sub-units there are per master unit |
4 |
|
Units: PU |
For MicroStation files this records how many positional units there are per sub-unit |
4 |
|
Met/Imp |
This indicates whether the file is a metric (M) or imperial (I) file |
1 |
|
Global Origin: X |
This records the X coordinate of the global origin of the MicroStation file |
8 |
|
Global Origin: Y |
This records the Y coordinate of the global origin of the MicroStation file |
8 |
|
Global Origin: Z |
This records the Z coordinate of the global origin of the MicroStation file |
