Document Searching Index

The document searching index allows you to review a list of documents that are associated to specific keyword indexes. As an example, you may have attached a level 1 index "LEVEL0" to one or more documents in the Index section of the Document Details. By keying in this keyword into the level 1 field, or by selecting it from the list of defined level 1 indexes, you will see a listing of all the documents that have this index attached. This example is shown in the figure below.

You can see a list of defined indexes by clicking on the expand list icon - B-EXP.gif (779 bytes)

If the entered or selected level 1 index has associated level 2 indexes, one of these may be entered or selected in the level 2 field. This will narrow down the listing of documents to those that are associated to the combination of level 1 and level 2 indexes. You may narrow down the listing further by entering a valid level 3 keyword, if one exists.

This form also allows you to delete from the database the combination of indexes entered in the form. Note that the listed documents will not be deleted. Only the indexes, and their association with documents, will be deleted from the database.

If you need to add or change indexes associated with a document, you must do this in the Document Details section of the system.
