A document set provides an easy means for grouping documents together. For example, these documents may be files that make up a 3-dimensional model and associated database. Another example of a document set is a contract issue of various specifications (word processing) and graphics (CADD) documents. Documents in a document set can span across projects. This allows you to include documents from a group of different sub-projects into a single document set. Once you have these document sets defined, you can view these files as a group, making it much easier than trying to locate each document and checking them out individually. Document sets are defined on a per projects basis.
You can start reviewing and defining Document Sets by first clicking on the Document button on the main menu, and then on the Document Set option that appears on the sub-menu.
