When working in the TIMS3 database, you will see that there are three modes of operation, where a database form is displayed with a set of icons allowing you to perform certain operations. The modes of operation are:
Search/Find
This allows you to specify search criteria in a query-by-form mode to locate information in the database
Review
This allows you to move through the set of records returned by the search operation
Insert
For inserting new records in the database
Edit
For changing information in existing records
The set of toolbar icons displayed in each mode are described in the following sections.
