Although automatic synchronization should suffice most of the time there may be an occasional need to manually update (synchronize) a site, project or file with its latest version stored on the remote server. In this situation the local TIMS3 administrator must perform Manual replication using the TIMS3 Cleanup Utility. The TIMS3 Cleanup utility can only be executed on the TIMS3 file server.
To manually update a replica, open the TIMS3 Cleanup utility on the TIMS3 file server and select the 'Replicated File List' from the toolbar pull-down options. The TIMS3 Cleanup utility 'Replicated File List' view provides a hierarchy of local file servers, remote sites and replicated projects. The window display should update the toolbar command buttons similar to those shown below.

To manually update all project replicas from any site listed on the left, click the 'Replicate All' button on the toolbar. See figure below.

To manually update all replicated projects from a specific site, select the site in the tree view on the left and click 'Replicate Site' button on the toolbar. See figure below.

To manually update a specific replicated project, select the replicated project in the tree view on the left and click 'Replicate Project' button on the toolbar. See figure below.

To manually update a specific set of documents in a replicated project, select the replicated project in the tree view on the left; select the list of files (using shift or ctrl) and right click on the last document selection. On the right click menu click the only menu command 'Replicate' to start the replication process. See figure below.
