Although automatic cleanup should suffice most of the times there may be an occasional need to manually cleanup a server, workstation, or even a file. In this situation, the local TIMS3 administrator must perform manual cleanup using the TIMS3 Cleanup utility.
To manually cleanup workstations, open the TIMS3 cleanup utility on the TIMS3 file server and select the 'Checked Out File List' from the toolbar pull-down options. The left pane, a tree view, is used to display the hierarchy of TIMS3 file server and workstations need to be cleaned. The right pane, a list view, is used to display all documents that are checked out. The window display should update the toolbar command buttons similar to those shown below.

To manually cleanup all the checked out documents from the TIMS3 server that the TIMS3 Cleanup is currently running, click the 'Cleanup All' button on the toolbar. See the figure below.

To manually cleanup a specific workstation, click the 'Cleanup Node' button on the toolbar. See the figure below.

To manually cleanup a specific set of documents in a workstation, select the workstation in the tree view ; select the list of documents (using shift or ctrl) and right on the last document selection. On the right click menu, click the only menu 'Cleanup' to start the cleanup process. See the figure below.
