TIMS3 provides a set of easily customizable stock templates to get your company started with TIMS3 MS Office Integration.
Click the first button (with the
image) to create a new document based on one of the included
templates provided with TIMS3 MS Office Integration . You will
be prompted you to enter some information about the new document:

The user should fill out the following information:
'Author' and 'Short Description' - information which will be
used to generate the new filename.
'Document Title', - an optional field which will
become the Title of the new document in the TIMS database.
'Type of Document', - select the template on which you want to base the new document. (From the templates provided with TIMS MS Office Integration).
After filling out the form, Click the "Ok" button to initiate the document creation and registration.
You will then see the familiar Project Navigator 'Properties' dialog box:

Fill out any pertinent information, and click "Ok' to continue.
The user will then be able to select a contact from the TIMS3 Address Book to automatically update all the information on the client to the newly created fax.


A new document based on the chosen template (in this example, a Fax) and the information provided will be opened for edit, already registered, and checked out to the user.
Shown below is a sample from this examples new TIMS Fax document. Please note that these templates are designed to be user friendly and fully customizable.
