the TIMS3 EDMS is an out-of-the-box solution, there can be a range of
system customization options. In addition to the dozens of default document
and project properties, you can also add customized meta-data fields
for storing information and querying. TIMS3 also offers several advanced
options such as Web connectivity and browsing, Site Switching, and Site
Replication. All of these options can be set up and customized for your
specific business needs.

Consulting
TIMS3 Technical Representatives provide technical consulting on your
system needs. These services include: system evaluation, data migration
from other database or management systems, document and information
organization, system customization, project and implementation planning,
training and post implementation follow up.
Implementation
Depending on the size and complexity of the installation you may choose
to install the TIMS3 system yourself or have a TIMS3 Technical Representative
install it. As a general rule, we recommend that a TIMS3 Technical Representatives
provide at least one day of implementation consulting and training for
any system installation.
Training
TIMS3 is a very user-friendly system with an easy to understand interface.
This combined with comprehensive step-by-step training guides make TIMS3
a very easy system to implement and train users on. TIMS3 Technical
Representatives usually train advanced users, who in turn train the
regular users in the operation and functionality of TIMS3. The "train
the trainers" approach enables a speedy implementation and training
process, as well as ensuring smooth transition from the TIMS3 Technical
Consultant to your system administrators.
Product
Upgrades
TIMS3 is under constant development to add new functionality, tools
and integration with other systems. TIMS3 also provides a high level
of service to customers to improve system functionality and tools for
their needs. These services and upgrades are by in large covered in
the low maintenance cost charged to customers.
Technical
Support
Included in the low annual maintenance fee is unlimited phone and e-mail
support for TIMS3 issues. The TIMS3 technical support team consists
of programmers, web developers, document consulting, network and CAD
specialists.
